The status of negotiations to withdraw from the EU is as follows:

October 21, 2019

UK has been granted a fourth extension to January 31, 2020. The revised Withdrawal Agreement agreed with the European Union on October 17, 2019 had its second reading in the House of Commons on October 21.  The government has decided not to proceed with the next stages in the legislative process. Instead it has got parliamentary approval for a general election on December 12, 2019.

Whichever party/ies form the next government will either proceed with the legislative process to convert the existing Withdrawal Agreement Bill (WAB) into law or seek to have the WAB revised.
