Languages –  Czech is the majority language. Slovak is also officially recognised, and is a fairly similar language.  Recognised official minority languages: Polish, German and Romani.  First language: Czech 95.4%, Slovak 1.6%, other 3% (2011 census)

Religion - There is very weak religious affiliation in the Czech Republic with 10.3% Roman Catholic, 0.8% Protestant and 88.8% either being unspecific or declaring themselves as having no religion (2011 census).
